Litecoin Betting Sites: The Coin for a Top-Up Before Kick-Off
Seven sportsbooks in our comparison list litecoin. It confirms four times as often as bitcoin, costs little to send, and suits the deposit most bettors actually make: a modest top-up an hour before the match, not a once-a-month transfer.
Litecoin was built as a quicker, lighter version of bitcoin, and that is exactly how bettors use it. The team news lands an hour before kick-off, you want to add something to your balance, and you do not want to wait half an hour or pay a fee that eats a tenth of the deposit. Seven of the sportsbooks we compare list LTC. This page covers the litecoin betting sites in our comparison and the few details of the coin that matter at a cashier.

Two and a half minutes a block
Litecoin aims to add a block every two and a half minutes, a quarter of bitcoin's target. A deposit with an ordinary fee usually lands in the next block or two, and even a cashier that waits for several confirmations tends to credit LTC in well under half an hour. That timing is what makes litecoin practical for the “just before the match” deposit:
| Coin | Target time between blocks | Fit for a top-up an hour before kick-off |
|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | 10 minutes | Possible, but tight if the network is busy |
| Litecoin | 2.5 minutes | Comfortable |
| Dogecoin | 1 minute | Comfortable |
The network is only half the wait. The cashier decides how many confirmations it needs and whether larger deposits wait longer, and that rule is on the deposit screen or in the help pages.
Low fees, and why they matter most on small sums
Litecoin fees are typically a small fraction of bitcoin's. On a large transfer that difference hardly shows. On a deposit of $30 or $50, which is what many weekend bettors actually send, a high network fee can take a noticeable share before a single bet is placed. The same logic works in reverse on withdrawals: a sportsbook that deducts the network fee from the payout leaves more of a small litecoin withdrawal intact than of a small bitcoin one. Minimum withdrawals in LTC are often set lower for the same reason.
Addresses: three normal kinds and one to avoid
Litecoin addresses come in several forms. Those starting with L, M or ltc1 are the ones every cashier and exchange handles. Since 2022 Litecoin has also had an optional privacy layer, the MimbleWimble Extension Block, with addresses that start with ltcmweb1. Many exchanges and sportsbook cashiers do not support it. If your wallet offers an MWEB address by default, switch to an ordinary one before you copy it into a cashier, and do not send from an MWEB balance unless the sportsbook says it accepts it.
Older guides mention addresses starting with 3 for Litecoin; those are a legacy format some wallets still show. If a cashier gives you an M-address and your wallet complains, update the wallet rather than converting the address by hand.

Litecoin is fast, but it is not stable. A balance held in LTC rises and falls with the litecoin price while your bets are open, sometimes by more in a day than bitcoin does. A 1 LTC stake at 2.20 returns 2.2 LTC whatever the market does; what those 2.2 LTC are worth in dollars depends on the day you withdraw. If you want the result of the match to be the only thing that moves your balance, our USDT betting sites page covers the stablecoin route. If you prefer the original, the bitcoin betting sites page explains the slower, costlier sibling.
Payouts and the terms behind them
A quick network does not mean a quick payout. Approval happens inside the sportsbook before any coin moves, and that is where every delay in the terms sits. Our fast withdrawal betting sites page compares what each operator commits to. The verification clause is also unchanged by the coin: each of these litecoin betting sites keeps the right to ask for documents, and a win large enough to approach the operator's threshold reaches it whether it is paid in LTC or in anything else.
Where litecoin sits among the coins we compare
Across the thirteen sportsbooks we read, litecoin is the fourth most widely listed coin: bitcoin and ether appear in nine cashiers, USDT in eight and litecoin in seven. That makes it a safe second coin to hold: if a sportsbook takes more than two coins, LTC is very likely one of them. It is also one of the few coins whose wallets, exchanges and cashiers have supported the same address formats for years, so there are fewer surprises than on newer networks. What it lacks is a dollar peg and the token ecosystem of Ethereum or Tron; you cannot hold a stablecoin on Litecoin, so a bettor who wants a stable balance and fast deposits usually ends up on Tron or Solana instead.
Using litecoin betting sites well
- Keep a small LTC float in your own wallet for top-ups, rather than routing every deposit through an exchange.
- Use an ordinary address, never an MWEB one, for deposits and withdrawals.
- Withdraw in litecoin if you deposited in litecoin. Cashiers generally expect the same route both ways.
- Decide on price exposure first. Fast deposits are useful; an unplanned bet on the litecoin price is not.
Every coin and network is compared in our crypto betting sites guide, and the main ranking of no verification betting sites covers every operator we read.
