Betting Bonus Offers, Read Clause by Clause
A betting bonus is a contract: a percentage, a cap, a wagering multiple and a list of rules that decide whether the money ever becomes yours. Here is how each type works, what the welcome offers at the sites we rate actually say, and how to work out what a bonus costs before you take it.
Every betting bonus is advertised by its biggest number and decided by its smallest. The headline says 150% or 10,000 USDT; the terms say how many times the money must be bet, which bets count, how much you may stake while the bonus is active and how long you have. Read in that order, the same offer can look generous or close to worthless.

The types of betting bonus
Deposit match. The site adds a percentage of your deposit, up to a cap. 100% up to 1 BTC doubles a deposit of up to 1 BTC. The most common welcome offer.
Multi-deposit package. The match is spread over the first two, three or four deposits, often with a different percentage each time. The headline is the total of all the caps, which only applies if you make every deposit at its maximum.
Reload bonus. A smaller betting bonus match on later deposits, usually for existing players.
Cashback and rakeback. A share of losses, or of the house edge on what you bet, returned on a schedule. It usually carries little or no wagering, which makes it the most straightforward kind of value.
Odds boosts and acca insurance. Sportsbook promotions: a better price on a named selection, or a stake back as a bonus when one leg of an accumulator lets you down.
What the welcome offers say
The table below shows the welcome offers as each operator publishes them, read from its own promotions page and bonus terms. Most of them are casino offers; where a site publishes no figure, the table says so rather than guessing.
| Operator | Structure | Match and cap | Wagering |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vave | Four deposits | 150% to 1.5 BTC with 100 spins, then 100% to 1 BTC, 50% to 1 BTC, 25% to 0.5 BTC | Not stated on the page we read |
| Metaspins | First deposit | 100% up to 1 BTC | No multiple published |
| Rainbet | Two paths, chosen before the first deposit | Wager-locked path: 100%, 50% and 100% on three deposits, each with 20 spins, up to $700 per tier | 40x deposit plus bonus on the locked path |
| Rakebit | Three deposits | 100% to 4,000 USDT, 150% to 3,500 USDT, 200% to 2,500 USDT | Not stated |
| Wild.io | Welcome package | 350% with 200 spins; cap varies | 40x |
| Rocketpot | Shown only inside the account | No public figures | 100x unless an offer says otherwise |
| Shuffle | Welcome offer | 100%; cap varies | Varies by offer |
Two things stand out. The biggest headline figures belong to multi-deposit packages, which only reach their totals after several maximum deposits. And the wagering multiple, the number that decides most of the value, is missing from several public pages, so it has to be read in the bonus terms or in the account before you opt in.
Wagering requirements, with numbers
Wagering is the number of times a sum must be bet before it can be withdrawn. Two details change everything: what the multiple applies to, and what counts.
Bonus only or deposit plus bonus. Deposit 100 and receive a 100% bonus of 100. At 40x the bonus, you must bet 4,000. At 40x deposit plus bonus, as on Rainbet's wager-locked path, you must bet 8,000.
What the wagering costs. Every bet carries a house edge or a bookmaker margin. On games with a 3% edge, betting 8,000 costs about 240 on average, which is more than the 100 bonus. On games with a 1% edge, the same wagering costs about 80. That is why bonus terms exclude low-edge games, and why the Rainbet offer excludes slots with a return above 97.4%.
Contribution. Slots usually count in full; table games, live casino and sports bets often count partly or not at all. The contribution table in the bonus terms is worth more attention than the headline.
Maximum bet. Most offers cap the stake while a bonus is active. Rainbet sets it at 2% of the deposit on the locked path. Breaking it can void the bonus and its winnings.
Cashback, rakeback and boosts
Cashback and rakeback are the bonuses with the fewest strings. A percentage of losses or of the theoretical house edge is returned, often weekly, and usually as withdrawable balance or with low wagering. Rainbet's second welcome path works this way: instead of a locked match, the bonus is released as you play, at a rate tied to each bet.
On the sportsbook side, odds boosts are simple: a better price on a named market, usually with a lower maximum stake. Acca insurance returns the stake, usually as a bonus with its own wagering, when exactly one leg of a qualifying accumulator loses. The bet calculator shows what the boosted slip would have paid.

A bonus does not change the rule that lets you sign up without documents, but it does add a moment when documents can be requested. Bonus terms commonly let an operator review play before paying out bonus winnings, especially after a large win or several accounts from one household. The point where each site can ask for documents is shown on the no KYC casinos page and in every table on this site.
The simplest way to avoid surprises is to decide before the first deposit: take the betting bonus only if you are happy to meet its wagering, and decline it if you want the deposit to stay withdrawable.
Each bonus type, on its own page
- Welcome bonus: the offers in the table, and what you must deposit to reach each headline figure.
- Wagering requirements: multiples from 10x to 100x, turnover and average cost at three margins.
- Rakeback and cashback: the two formulas side by side on the same week of play.
- Reload bonus: smaller matches for existing players, and when a plain deposit is worth more.
- Crypto casino bonus: caps set in coins, wagering in dollars and the fees in between.
- Odds boost: price, profit and accumulator boosts measured against the fair price.
- Acca insurance: how often exactly one leg loses, and what the refund is worth.
How we read bonus offers
We read each operator's promotions page and bonus terms and record the structure, the match, the cap and the wagering multiple, with the date. We do not rate a site by the size of its bonus, because the size says little about the value; the methodology explains what we rate instead. Coins and deposits are covered on the crypto betting sites page.
Our ranking of no ID betting sites shows which operators name a sum for ID checks and which leave it open.
