He, Yatoro and coach Silent went back onto the active roster on 5 January 2025, after a break that followed TI 2024. The two biggest titles of 2025 came within seven months of that return.

Read the table from the bottom up and the story is clear: seven events without a title, then the one that matters most. At TI the team went 3–2 in its group, beat Team Resilience 2–1 in the elimination round, swept Iron Wing, lost an upper-bracket series and then won four in a row, finishing with a five-game final that went past the hour in its last map. The prize was about US$1.4 million of a US$3.33 million pool.

What is known about Collapse

An offlaner built for teamfights. In the TI 2026 final he played Underlord, using its global portal to move Spirit around the map, and Centaur Warrunner, a hero picked for initiation more than farm. That is the pattern of his role: he spends his gold on fights that make space for the carry and the mid.

Big-stage results. His MVP award at the Esports World Cup 2025 and three TI titles say he raises his level at the events with the deepest prize pools. The same team finished 13th–16th at TI 2022, 9th–12th at TI 2024 and outside the playoffs at TI 2025, so the peaks are not every year.

Long partnership. He and Yatoro have played together on Spirit's side lanes for almost six years. Few rosters in Dota 2 keep a pairing that long, and the shared experience shows in late-game decisions under pressure.

BLAST Slam IX: chances and why

BLAST Slam IX is played online from 20 to 29 November 2026, sixteen teams, $750,000 in prizes, of which $270,000 goes to the winner. Groups run from 20 to 23 November, the seeding and last-chance matches on the 24th, and the double-elimination playoff from 27 to 29 November. As of 5 October, Liquipedia names only three qualified teams, Natus Vincere, Dawn Bulls and Team Nemesis, with the Chinese qualifier's slot still blank; Spirit are not yet named among the twelve invitations, and our view below assumes they will be.

Our estimate: Spirit lift the trophy about 18 times in 100, so a fair price is roughly 5.50. That is our estimate, not a bookmaker price.

• Same five players who won in Shanghai, and they ended the season far stronger than they started it.
• The offlane matters more in best-of-three: a lost side lane in game one can be fixed by the draft in game two, and his hero pool gives Spirit that option.
• The online setting removes travel days between TI-level events.
• Against: most of their 2026 was mid-table, including a 7th–10th place at BLAST Slam VI in February.
• Against: with sixteen teams, even the best side wins a Slam well under half the time.

How to bet on Collapse

An offlaner rarely tops a kill chart, so player bets on him need a different lens from a carry.

• Spirit to win the series. The simplest way to back him. Check whether a 2–1 correct score pays enough to justify the risk of a split.
• Player kills under. On initiators such as Centaur his kill count tends to sit below the carry's; where a line is offered, the under is the side to study.
• Assists or kill participation. Some books price these for star players; they fit his role better than raw kills.
• First blood. Spirit's side lanes start fights early on some drafts, which is worth a look once the heroes are known.
