1xBet: When the Security Service Asks for Your Papers
1xBet's rules give its security service wide room to ask for documents, by upload, by video call or by post. This review sets out what the rules ask for, when, and what the Curaçao register shows about the company behind the site.
1xBet is one of the largest names in offshore sports betting, and its rules document is one of the longest. For a reader of this site the useful question is narrow: when does 1xBet want to see your passport, and what happens if you do not send it? This 1xbet review answers that from the brand's own General Terms and Conditions and the Curaçao licence register, and leaves aside anything those pages do not state.

The company behind 1xBet
The rules name the operator of 1xbet.com as Caecus N.V., a company incorporated in Curaçao with company number 163779 and a registered address at 17 Chuchubiweg, Willemstad. They give the licence as OGL/2024/1262/0493, issued to offer games of chance, and print the grant date as 07/11/2024. The rules still call the issuing body the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, the regulator's former name.
For this 1xbet review we checked that entry against the regulator's list, and the register agrees on the number and the holder. In the Curaçao Gaming Authority's Online Gaming License Registry dated 2 October 2026, row 458 lists OGL/2024/1262/0493 held by Caecus N.V., type B2C, company number 163779, with a date of 24 December 2025, no expiry date, and the status Indefinite.
The rules set the minimum age at 18, or the local age of majority where that is higher, and never lower than 18. Each customer may hold one account, and the rules extend that to one account per family, address, email, IP address and payment card or wallet.
The sports betting offer in 1xBet's own words
The rules split betting into pre-match and live. Live bets are accepted on the main markets (win, total, handicap) and on additional ones, as singles or inside accumulators. Once a live bet is accepted it cannot be changed, edited or deleted, and the rules state that the bookmaker is not responsible for any inaccuracy in the live score display.
1xBet's version of cash out is called a bet slip sale. You can sell a slip back to the company in part or in full before it settles and have the money credited straight away. The rules say plainly that not every slip can be sold, that you only learn whether it can after the bet has been accepted, and that the sale price is not negotiable: you take it or leave it. An auto sell option lets you set the amount you want, and the price on the slip moves with the odds until it reaches that figure. Our cash out guide shows why such offers sit below the bet's fair value.
For live markets in general, our live betting explainer covers how in-play prices are set. The parts of the rules we could read do not describe a bet builder or which events are streamed, so this 1xbet review makes no claim on either.
Deposits and withdrawals in the rules
The rules exclude cash and cheques. Money moves through approved electronic payment methods or bank transfer, and the full list sits in the Payments section of the site rather than in the rules. Coin deposits are credited once the blockchain has given enough confirmations. Fees and minimums per method are not in the rules, so this 1xbet review does not quote them.
Withdrawal requests are processed around the clock, and the rules allow up to seven business days depending on the method. Three further rules shape what you can expect:
- money goes back through the same payment details used to deposit, and if you used several methods, withdrawals are split in proportion to what came in through each;
- the security service may decline a withdrawal where deposits came through e-payment systems, or where the amounts going in and out do not match the betting on the account;
- the company may open its own check on a payment and request information from the payment system, and under some payment systems' terms that check can run for up to 180 days.
If payout time is the deciding point, our fast withdrawal list compares it across sites.
When 1xBet asks for documents, and which ones
This is the section of the 1xbet review that decides whether the site suits a reader of this one. The rules describe a Know Your Customer procedure used to confirm identity and monitor financial behaviour, and they give the company broad room to start it.
| What the rules allow 1xBet to request | When |
|---|---|
| Passport or ID card showing name, date of birth and photograph | At any time, as part of KYC |
| Utility bill no older than 3 months, or another document confirming address | At any time, as part of KYC |
| A photo of you holding your ID, face clearly visible, or verification by telephone | At any time |
| A video call, or a video of the documents, and documents sent by post | During identity verification |
| An officially issued photo ID such as a passport or driving licence | While a withdrawal request is processed |
| Information from the payment system about a payment | When the company opens a payment check |
The rules say verification may take up to 72 hours from the moment the documents arrive. While it runs, the account may be blocked and the balance frozen until the account holder is established and the deposit methods confirmed.
The consequences are written out. If documents requested by the security team are not produced, winnings are forfeited. If a customer refuses verification, the company may void bets and block access to the account. Using someone else's documents, or invalid or forged ones, is treated as a breach. A blocked customer can contact the security team to start reactivation or a withdrawal.
The rules document numbers its clauses, but the copy available to us did not show the numbers beside these passages, so we cite them by subject rather than by clause. Nothing we read promises that an account can deposit, bet and withdraw without documents: the rules leave the timing to the company and add a document request to the withdrawal step.
SportsbookSportsbook and casino in one accountOpen sportsbook18+ · read the terms before your first depositWho 1xBet suits on these facts
The site suits a bettor who wants pre-match and live markets on singles and accumulators, is comfortable that a slip can be sold back only on 1xBet's terms, and has a passport, a recent utility bill and the time for a possible video call ready before the first withdrawal.
It is a poor fit for anyone whose priority is never sending a document. The rules allow requests at any time, attach one to withdrawals, and allow payment checks of up to 180 days. It also does not suit bettors who move money between several methods and expect to withdraw to whichever is easiest, since the rules send money back the way it came. If you set limits on your betting, our responsible gambling page lists the tools to look for. That is where this 1xbet review lands: a broad sportsbook whose rules put the document question in the company's hands.
When papers up front are a dealbreaker
1xBet's rules keep a document request open at every stage, from the first deposit to the last withdrawal. If that is what you are trying to avoid, our guide to no verification betting sites reads each sportsbook's own terms on sign-up and payout checks, and the table below is drawn from it.

Every fact about a named sportsbook comes from that operator's own terms, KYC or AML policy, or from a licence register, with the clause number where there is one and the date it was read.
