Jason Susanto: Paper Rex's Flex Star After Two Masters Finals
Jason Susanto has spent his whole Valorant career at Paper Rex and was named the best APAC player of 2025 by VALO2ASIA. Paper Rex reached both Masters finals in 2026 and start the Champions playoffs against LOUD on 7 October.
Jason Susanto, known as f0rsakeN, is Paper Rex's flex player and VALO2ASIA's pick as the best APAC player of 2025. Paper Rex lost both Masters finals of 2026, in Santiago and in London, and arrive at the Shanghai playoffs as winners of Group C. They face LOUD on 7 October, and how his flexible role is used on each map is a large part of why their prices move the way they do.

The London final went the distance: LEVIATÁN won it 3–2 for their first Masters title. In Shanghai, Paper Rex beat Team Liquid 2–1 (Ascent 13–4, Haven 7–13, Lotus 13–10) and then G2 Esports 2–1, losing Split 9–13 before taking Haven 13–11 and Lotus 13–9.
What is known about f0rsakeN
He plays wherever Paper Rex need him. For most of his career he moved between roles; in the last 90 days he has settled on Omen, 15 of 24 maps, with Harbor, Astra, Yoru, Gekko and Phoenix filling the rest. A controller who can still win duels is rare, and it lets Paper Rex keep their aggressive style without losing smokes.
The numbers on Omen are steady rather than spectacular. VLR.gg gives him a rating of 0.95 and an average combat score of 191.1 on the agent over that period. His best maps carry the team: 1.30 on Haven against G2 and 1.16 on Ascent against Liquid in the group stage.
His low maps hurt. The same group stage included 0.51 on Haven against Liquid and 0.72 on Lotus against G2. In the Pacific Stage 2 exit against VARREL his three maps rated 0.68, 0.85 and 0.52.
Paper Rex faded after London. Two Masters finals and a Pacific Stage 1 title came in the first half of the year. Since then they went out in the group stage of the Esports World Cup and lost in the lower bracket of Pacific Stage 2. They qualified for Shanghai on championship points, third in Pacific.
Valorant Champions 2026: chances and why
Our estimate: Paper Rex win Champions 17% of the time, a fair price of about 5.9 in decimal odds. That figure is our estimate, not a bookmaker price, and we rate them the most likely of the three teams we profile.
- Two finals already this year. No other team in this bracket reached both Masters finals of 2026.
- A clean group. They won Group C without needing the decider, beating a Liquid side from EMEA and a G2 side from the Americas.
- The summer slump is real. 13th–16th at the Esports World Cup and 5th–6th in Pacific Stage 2 came after the Masters runs.
- LOUD are dangerous. They beat NRG in the Americas Stage 2 lower final and reached the playoffs here through the decider match.
- Finals have been the problem. Paper Rex have lost the Champions 2023 final and two Masters finals since, and the grand final here is best-of-five.
How to bet on f0rsakeN and Paper Rex
Paper Rex play a fast, high-risk style, and that shows in their scorelines. Expect more one-sided maps in both directions than with most teams.
- Series winner against LOUD. Check a quoted price with the odds calculator and compare it with your own view of the match.
- Total maps. Both group series went to three maps. Over 2.5 maps is the market that reflects that; the handicap betting guide explains the related map lines.
- Map winner. Lotus and Haven have been their maps in Shanghai; Split was a loss. Bet single maps after the veto, not before.
- Player kills. As a controller his lines are usually lower than a duelist's, and his rating range in this event, from 0.51 to 1.30, says the line can go either way.
- In-play. A team that wins rounds in bursts suits live prices; read the live betting guide before trying it.
Where to watch
Riot broadcasts the playoffs on its official VALORANT Esports channels: English on Twitch and YouTube, with regional feeds including Indonesian, Thai, Filipino and Vietnamese for Southeast Asian viewers. Some sportsbooks show part of the event to account holders as well; we have picked sites where that exists, and which matches appear differs between them.
